Thyme Essential Oil

Thyme essential oil is derived from the steam distillation of the leaves and flowers of the thyme plant, scientifically known as Thymus vulgaris. It has a pale yellow to reddish-brown color and a strong, herbaceous aroma.

The oil has a strong, herbaceous aroma that is often described as spicy with a hint of sweetness. Its chemical composition includes thymol, carvacrol, p-cymene, linalool, and camphene, which are all known for their therapeutic properties.

CAUTION: It is meant only for external use. Do a patch skin test before applying it to your skin. Dilute it before topical application. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using it.
